"When my VW dealer fitted a replacement radio they disturbed the TomTom hard wired unit that CBS had fitted rendering it loose & no longer receiving the car's electrical supply. CBS replaced the sticky pads on the dash mount holder that the VW dealer had lost & they wired in a new lead to the dash mount to replace the one that had it's micro USB plug damaged by clumsy fitting. All while I waited & for less than £10. Highly recommended!"

Dropped my keys off and that was me done.Great after service taking time to show me how the dash cams work and what i would need to change around depending on preference and how easy it was to operate. Cambridge Battery Service (CBS) has always had a good reputation for fitting high-end ICE and other components to equally high-end vehicles, but they recently sorted out a long-standing electrical issue on my somewhat more mundane car too.Their friendliness and approachability as well as their obvious skills and experience is very confidence-inspiring so, although I appreciate people will travel a long way to use them, I'm glad they're fairly local to me as I've no hesitation in being a returning client.

I made an appointment to have a tow bar fitted to my Audi.The only very minor problem I had was finding the premises as the postcode gave me a point a little to the south. This was quickly resolved by a telephone call and CBS is easy to find if you keep going north of Horningsea. I only mention that since everything else went so well. The place was spotless not really what you expect for tow bar fitting. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. My four and six year old grandchildren entertained and made welcome. The operation of the bar was explained in detail. Finally the car was smart and shiny. I left feeling very happy and my thanks go to all staff including names I remember Adil, Steve and Chrissie.

CBS is a serious outfit worth travelling for, I had security upgrades installed on my car by them, all carried out at their impressive new facility away from the hustle and bustle of Cambridge city centre. The most FASTEST and BEST service for cars I have ever had! Turned up today with faulty wipers and fixed within minutes of arriving. Not only was it fix quickly, the dude actually informed me what he was doing and taught me how to search for the problem in the future! Needed rear bulb assembly installed quickly as the whole unit had blown a fuse and had no rear lights on one side at all.Was dealt with quickly and efficiently (same day). Comfortable waiting area, superb coffee and overall, a superb atmosphere. I will be back to upgrade audio system in the New Year for sure! Thank you for your help guys, would highly recommend!

I rang for a quote to fit rear parking sensors and the very helpful gentleman gave me an exact figure to complete the job and approximate installation time. I thought the quote was very reasonable and promptly booked my car in for the work to be carried out. Everything went like clockwork. I left my car at the workshop at 8.30am, took my dog for a wonderful walk to Lode and back and by 11.30am my car was ready to drive away. This company is as professional as they come and I would recommend them to anyone.

CBS Automotive upgraded the stereo in my BMW Z4 E89 and did an excellent job. It turned out there was a problem where the "permanent" power feed cut out after some time when the ignition was off, and so the stereo kept resetting, CBS Automotive got my car back in again very quickly, diagnosed and solved the issue. Each time they were able to supply me with a courtesy car, so I was able to go to work with minimal disruption.Thank you for a truly first class service!

Adil and his team replaced original 25 year old, blown and rotting OEM speakers, and rewired and sorted out the stereo head unit in my Honda Del Sol towards the end of summer. Paid a bit more than I expected but quality service costs money! ...and these guys did a good job in good time. Would Recommend.

CBS Automotive have just fitted an integrated reversing camera and front parking sensors to my Seat Leon FR and what a first class job they did. Everything is neatly tucked away and looks like it came from the factory already fitted. CBS really did help me out when we where in great need I brought a second hand car New to me and it had a tow bar on it with electric hook up what I did not know it was 7 pin and would not take the caravan this I don't know till I tried to hook up the caravan to go away for a few days I called CBS and they helped me out and got me on my holiday many thanks CBS Mr John Howard

I've had the sound system now for about a month. Works perfectly. Would happily recommend. Slightly expensive, but well worth it. Replaced factory FM radio/CD with DAB etc for my MX5. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, all fitted with out issues in a couple of hours.
